JAGUAR SPONSORS 2018 AFRASIA BANK MAURITIUS OPEN GOLF TOURNAMENT

For the fourth consecutive year, Jaguar is partnering with AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open as the official vehicle sponsor of the golf tournament. This year’s event will be taking place from 29 November to 2 December at the Four Seasons Golf Club Mauritius at Anahita.
It will be international golf’s first tri-sanctioned event between the European Tour, Asian Tour and Sunshine Tour, and has established itself as the largest sports event in the Indian Ocean region, with one of the most diverse fields in golf competing.

Olivier De Robillard, Head of sales Jaguar Mauritius, said:
“Jaguar Mauritius, represented by Axess Limited, is a proud partner of the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open Golf tournament for the 4th consecutive year. This demonstrates our strong engagement towards sports & golf enthusiasts. We are looking forward to this year’s event as it will mark the official unveiling of our first all-electric car the Jaguar I-PACE, for the African market”

Last year, a Jaguar F-TYPE was up for grabs for the first person to score an albatross on the 18th hole. While no one managed to achieve this, the professional golfers can look forward to an equally enticing prize this year.

Lisa Mallett, Marketing Director, Jaguar Land Rover South Africa and sub-Sahara Africa, said:
“We’re very excited to once again be the official vehicle sponsor for the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open. The sport and our brand are a natural fit, and this tournament provides the perfect opportunity to engage with existing and new customers. We look forward to unveiling the I-PACE which we foresee to be a game changer for the Jaguar brand, and the motor industry at large.”

As the official vehicle sponsor Jaguar will provide chauffeured vehicles for transporting VIP guests, as well as running a Land Rover 4x4 experience for the public.
